ABOUT ME
I am a visual artist who lives with my husband and two children just outside of Boston, MA. I have always been interested in the history and creation of art, but it wasn’t until after my children were born that I began to take it more seriously. While earning an illustration certificate at the School at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, I dabbled in cut paper work and printmaking as well as more conceptual art making. When I finally fully embraced a complete return to art, I realized that I was most interested in color relationships; how proximity changes perception and also how color can evoke emotion and nostalgia. The obvious choice for me was to paint acrylic on canvas. My paintings tell stories with color without the visual baggage of symbolism.
